And so begins 2018...
2018 started of quietly for us. We slowly started to wake up from our turkey-induced comas and began operating classes after the break. Anu (featured above) was out of commission with a nasty abscess in his hoof, but he was a good boy and behaved himself - even though the vet made him stay in his stall for 5 days! Jessica came in everyday to take care of him and play with him, so it eased his mind and kept him company.
Restorative Reins, in collaboration with Well Dressed Equestrian, has launched a great program for all ages! PONY PALS is a fun-filled introductory class for people wanting to learn more about horses. Clients will learn how to groom, lead and other general horse handling techniques. They will learn the absolute basics, like how to put on a halter and walk a horse - to old-pro tips, like how to communicate with the horses through body language. To find out more, visit our EVENTS page.
Meet SugarFoot! This little fuzzy ball of snuggles came to join our therapy and Pony Pals programs. SugarFoot is kind and sweet, yet brave and not a push over. He loves to snuggle, is smart as a whip and a very brave boy. He loves to learn new things, but doesn't let anyone push him around. He's the perfect addition to our herd! We just adore him already!
